REHTI – ETHICAL CHANNEL
The REHTI ethical channel promotes transparency, reliability, and ethical conduct within our companies. True to its name, it stands for fair play. The channel's implementation is based on the European Union's Whistleblower Directive and is operated by an external service provider, Webropol Oy. The channel covers the Koja Group, including Koja-Yhtiöt Oy, as well as Koja Oy and Chiller Oy and their subsidiaries.
Through the REHTI channel, one can report suspected violations of ethical conduct. Such actions include serious misconduct or inappropriate or illegal behavior (e.g., environmental crimes, corruption) that meet the criteria for criminal suspicion. The reporting system must not be used for inappropriate purposes. The person submitting a false report may be held criminally liable. Customer feedback, complaints, or personnel matters do not belong in the REHTI channel and should be directed to the appropriate parties within the company.
Anyone from the organization – employees, stakeholders, or external individuals – can submit a report confidentially. Reports can be submitted anonymously or with contact information, depending on the reporter’s preference. The more detailed the report, the better the suspected misconduct can be investigated. The company will investigate potential misconduct based on the reports, provided they are deemed valid. A receipt confirmation is sent to the reporter for every report.
The reporter will receive feedback on the actions taken or planned based on the report, along with the rationale for those actions. Feedback must be provided no later than three months after the receipt confirmation of the report.
