Joonas Lius Appointed to Eurovent Board of Directors

In late May 2024, a new Board of Directors was elected for the next three-year term at the Eurovent Annual Meeting. Joonas Lius, representing the Finnish Koja Group, was appointed to the Board as a member.

Lius heads Koja Group's Buildings business area, workings as the CEO of Chiller Oy and the Business Director of Koja Ltd's Buildings business area. He is also a board member of Talteka, the Finnish Building Services Industries and Trade organization, which brings together industry players in Finland.

In the upcoming term, the European HVACR industry association Eurovent will focus on themes of digitization and growth-oriented investments.

"I am grateful for my appointment and look forward to working with international industry professionals", says Lius.

Eurovent is Europe's Industry Association for Indoor Climate (HVAC), Process Cooling, and Food Cold Chain Technologies. Its members from throughout Europe represent more than 1.000 companies, the majority small and medium-sized manufacturers, employing around 150.000 people. Eurovent acts as a bridge builder between the manufacturers it represents and the associations, legislators and standardization bodies at the national, regional and international level.
