Development Partnership Agreement Deepens Cooperation Between Koja and SEAMK in Jalasjärvi

Koja’s Jalasjärvi factory and Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences (SEAMK) have signed a development partnership agreement. The collaboration supports close dialogue between education and working life, as well as the development of competencies to meet the future needs of the industry. Koja and SEAMK have long engaged in cooperation, but the agreement brings more systematic structure to these joint activities.

The partnership benefits both parties. Koja gains access to the expertise of students and specialists, as well as a channel to better communicate the company’s needs. In turn, Koja can offer students opportunities for internships, thesis projects, and joint research and development initiatives. Through these activities, students can develop their skills in practical settings aligned with industry needs. Internships may also open doors to summer jobs and, later on, employment opportunities.
