Changes in Koja's Boards of Directors

Long-term board members Jorma Aalto and Petri Olkinuora have retired from Koja Group Ltd’s and Koja Ltd's board work in March 2023. Many thanks to Jorma and Petri for their valuable board work!

In April 2023, the boards of Koja Group Ltd and Koja Ltd will be joined as new members by Tommi Pettersson (Vice President, Strategy, Sustainability and Technology, Kalmar, Cargotec Finland Ltd) and Riku Riikonen (Senior Vice President, Engineering Solutions, Etteplan Plc). Leena Aalto (CEO, Koja Group Ltd & Koja Ltd), Vesa Aalto (Business Area Manager, Industrial Solutions - Service, Koja Ltd) and Timo Seppälä (University Lecturer, Operations Management, Aalto University) will continue on the boards. In this way, both knowledge of family history and internal experience can be utilized, as well as external competence, expertise and networks from several fields.

In addition, to enhance the competence of the next generation, a new operating model has been launched, in which representatives of the owner family participate in the boards as observer members. From April 2023, Tuomas Aalto will participate in the board of Koja Group Ltd, Mikko Heiska in the board of Koja Ltd, and Olli Aalto in the board of Chiller Ltd, which is part of the Koja Group.
